Be stupefied that anything is. Be thrilled that things are. Get bewildered the hell out out of the comfort of sentience.

I’m not talking about going into raptures over the “beauty” of “creation.” If you’re still thinking about beauty or creation, or life or logic, you haven’t gone nearly far enough. If you’re rationalizing, you haven’t stopped living and started existing. If you’re grasping for explanations, you haven’t stopped living and started existing.

We have enough clutter without yet another ism.

However, this is a good place to reiterate the point of this website: (a) Nothing can ever be said about “meaning of existence,” so don’t ask. Do stop at the preceding sentence, or equivalent thereof, when talking about “meaning of existence.” In particular, if you read or write books about it, engage in discussions about it, ask anyone about it, suspect you can discover something about it, or say things like “Existence is meaningless,” I heap a mountain of scorn and ridicule on you. (b) Do try to experience the raw sensation of existing; it is unspeakably thrilling. Stop living and start existing.
