Observing Oneself

The desire to observe oneself from an out-of-body perspective is latent in most people, but once aroused, can be an extremely powerful one, to the point where the person excited with this thought might want to tear his flesh out or claw at his eyes as a result of frustration at not being able to achieve this. It is a powerful want to make a person want.
